Connectivity is one of the largest obstacles for regional and rural areas.

That’s why we have three connectivity options available across our product range - we solve the connectivity barrier for you.

Satellite

We’ve partnered with Myriota to bring low-cost, low-power, secure direct-to-orbit satellite connectivity for our GoRain, GoTank and GoCombo product range.

LoRaWAN

Our LoRaWAN-enabled sensors are enable you to connect to one of our many LoRaWAN on-farm gateways. It’s a cost effective way to cover large areas and connect to thousands of sensors. To learn more about our LoRaWAN network, scroll down.

4G / NBIoT / CatM1

Our 4G / NBIoT / CatM1 connectivity option is available across our product range. For those who have reliable 4G coverage on their property, this is a secure and stable option to send and receive data.

Solving the challenges of cost and connectivity for Australian Agriculture

Goanna Ag is installing network infrastructure to cover large rural and regional areas and connect to thousands of sensors affordably, reliably and securely. In areas where 4G / NBIoT / CatM1 networks are not available, and satellite connectivity latency is unacceptable, growers will be able to receive granular real-time data on a range of measures such as soil moisture, rainfall, water use and inventory to improve efficiency and productivity.

The network is based on the globally adopted LoRaWAN technology. Being 'narrowband' means that it transmits small amounts of essential data at a low cost and using very low power meaning sensors in remote areas have a longer lifespan.
